Univerzita Karlova Pedagogická fakulta DISERTAČNÍ PRÁCE Černá. (Vybrané případy fenoménu ve výtvarném umění, kultuře a jejich možnosti v edukaci) MgA. Jan Pfeiffer 2023 Charles University, Faculty of Education DISSERTATION Black. (Selected cases of phenomena in visual arts, culture and their possibilities in education) MgA. Jan Pfeiffer 2023 Abstract The subject of this work is black, or the designation for color. But it is also an artistic concept and means of expression. The subject of my interest are selected cases of the black phenomenon in visual arts, culture, and their possibilities in education. I understand black as a phenomenon that I explore through my own creative work. In the course of it, I ask myself questions, such as: what stimuli, for example, black gives us and how it is connected with our socio-cultural background and its perception. I also ask contemporary artists working consciously or unconsciously with black, what black enables them in their work, and how it supports them, whether it is crucial for them. My intention is to open new perspectives on the subject of black and its connection with daily life, the ability to treat this phenomenon as a conscious gesture, an opinion - distinguishing different uses of black context. I also examine the possibilities of reasoning verified in...

The line borders
Kazdová, Kristýna ; Sikora, Piotr (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
The difference in perception of reality is caused by the language that creates the terminology for naming formal entities; the definitions of these concepts are abstract. This creates both a collective inconsistency and an incongruity between content and form. In consequence, the question of the objectivity of attributing an abstract image to specific material should be asked. Elementary elements of the drawing expression as a line/picture are primarily perceived in formal boundaries. The goal of my work is to move beyond these boundaries.

Development of geometrical concepts in primary school pupils
Löbel, Miroslav ; Jirotková, Darina (advisor) ; Slezáková, Jana (referee)
The thesis examines the development of pupils' understanding of geometric concepts during the transition from primary school grade 1 to grade 2. In the theoretical part, the theoretical background of the introduction of geometric concepts at the 1st grade, their anchoring in the RVP ZV and the line of building concepts in two series of mathematics textbooks are presented. At the end of the first part, didactic environments that are suitable for building the concepts of circumference and content are presented. The second part of the thesis contains research aimed at finding out at what stage of the process of understanding geometric concepts pupils are at when they move to Grade 2. The research was carried out by means of a didactic test in four 6th grade classes, and the results are translated in the form of tables. After the test, the selected pupils were interviewed to find out what previous knowledge and skills led them to solve the problems. A sample of pupils was used to attempt to re-teach the skills, which will be tested again in a second round of testing after three months of teaching; the result is again presented in the form of tables. Finally, the fulfilment of the aims of the thesis is evaluated. KEYWORDS geometry, polygon, area, circumference, schema building, cognitive process of the...
Evaluation of supplementary plant preparation application effect on potato production parameters
MIČKA, Michal
The aim of the master's thesis was to evaluate the effects of the application of an auxiliary product on the production parameters of potatoes. For this purpose, a one-year small-plot experiment was established in 2022 at the experimental field in Lukavec. The varieties Ornella, Red Anna, Val Blue, and Westamyl were selected for the experiment. For this experiment, the auxiliary product Energen Fulhum Plus was applied. Energen Fulhum Plus is a modified aqueous solution of substance salts obtained by the original decomposition of technical lignosulfonate. It supports the formation of fine root hairs and, as a result, increases the use of moisture and nutrition. It also supports growth, yield, and material composition. After the harvest of the experimental plots, the yield was determined and then samples were taken for chemical analyses. From the experiment, the tuber yield, average tuber weight, starch content, starch yield, dry matter content, nitrogen content, nitrogen yield, and polyphenol content were evaluated. In the monitored year 2022, the temperature and precipitation during the period March - September were above average and it is evident from the results that all the varieties increased the tuber yield (t/ha), average tuber weight (g), starch content (%), starch yield (t/ha), nitrogen content (%) and nitrogen yield (t/ha) compared to the control after the application of the auxiliary product Energen Fulhum Plus. As for the dry matter content (%) after the application of the auxiliary product, the dry matter content increased in all varieties except the Val Blue variety, which showed a slight decrease in dry matter content. The application of the auxiliary preparation had different results for the total content of polyphenols (mg EGA/g dry matter), it increased in the varieties Westamyl and Val Blue and, on the contrary, decreased in the varieties Ornella and Red Anna.
Analýza obsahu a kvality organické hmoty ve vybraných půdních vzorcích
SLÁDKOVÁ, Jana
The evaluation of quantity and quality of soil organic matter is constantly evolving. New arising methods may or may not be put into practice. The aim of this thesis is to qualify the quantity and quality of soil organic matter using different approaches in order for the comparison to be made. Total organic carbon content, carbon con-tent in humic and fulvic acids and the ratio between CHK : CFK are included among the classical approaches in this thesis. On the other side, carbon content of soil or-ganic matter, stable organic carbon fractions, the rate constant of oxidation of or-ganic matter in the soil, and the setting of cationic bartering capacity according to Sandhoff are considered to be among the innovative approaches. The analysed samples were extracted from permanent grassland in the area of the village Třísov (Region Český Krumlov) in such a way that each sample was ex-tracted from different soil type (luvisols, pseudogleys, and gleys). The results of analysis carried out on each sample were found to be very similar after applying both the above-mentioned classical and innovative approaches of the evaluation of quantity and quality of soil organic matter. By using the listed approaches, it was proven the luvisols to be the best evaluated. However, the comparison of classical and new methods regarding the evaluation of quality of soil organic matter points out the difficulty of determining quality of non-humified organic matter using the classical approaches. On the contrary, the innovative approaches distinguish so called primary soil organic matter and humus.
Multicultural education among children in the first stage of primary school.
Škoudlínová, Simona ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Prokop, Jiří (referee)
Multicultural education in primary school is now increasingly part of formal education, influencing the learning environment and the relationships between the pupils themselves. This master thesis deals with the possibilities and pitfalls of multicultural education, what multiculture is, where it is heading, it also deals with project-based learning, which has great potential in teaching cross-cutting topics that are part of the curriculum, because it allows to look into the issue at hand from the perspective of different educational areas. There is also an insight into its implementation in school teaching, how it is integrated into various subjects in primary school teaching. The practical part is devoted to one of the very topical topics of multicultural education, i.e. integration of pupils with OMJ into the classroom collective. The opinions and attitudes of teachers who encounter this issue, which is very often encountered in multicultural education, and the results of this investigation, where teachers anonymously filled in a questionnaire, which I subsequently evaluated, are also expressed. To a lesser extent, the views and attitudes of pupils are also recorded here, which I also consider important; these are pupils in one 5th grade primary school, as they themselves perceive this ongoing...
